
About Ms Rachel's Jam
Hey there! I'm Rachel, founder of Ms Rachel's Jams. About 5 years ago, I was a workaholic spending my days in a large corporation, managing a grocery store for years. I chose that career path because I enjoyed people, learning about food, and crunching numbers of a big business. Then I had my second child and "retired" from that world, becoming an overly dedicated stay at home mom. I love being with my kids, but I didn't have a lot that I did for myself (other moms will understand this). That's when I learned about canning. One day, my mother-in-law, who grows some of her own produce, showed me the whole process. I was so intrigued!
I started at just this simple pepper jelly and have taken off from there! Creating new flavors and seeing the enjoyment people have from trying my product, is the best part of what I do! This was "just a hobby" but brought me so much happiness. I had friends constantly asking me to bring jam to parties. That led to my jams being tasted by large groups, which is when the orders started flooding in. My friends gave me the confidence in my jam to just go for it, so I went and got licensed! Now I'm selling at local farmers markets and farm stands. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to serve my product to people. I take pride in offering a range of unique and carefully handcrafted products that are free from artificial preservatives and additives.
This journey began with the simple passion for hosting friends and family. Now, Ms. Rachel's Jam is a labor of love, crafting all natural, locally made jams, pickles, and preserves with unique and unexpected flavors to level up any snack tray or meal.
